Why is this here?
This is a Prepago Corporate Citizenship initiative.
We recognized that 2020 was a challenging year for
everyone so we stepped in and began using our channels to share
and celebrate the good work
being done by others in our community and around the world.
We launched three campaigns in 2020 – we promoted the onward careers for rescue dogs, an
orphanage in Africa and suicide awareness. We remain active with helping UNICEF, clean water, and
lung disease so far in 2021 and look forward to highlighting work on hygiene, greening the planet,
healthcare and more.
We operate a publicity campaign for any organisation which requests
to run a promotion within our
app. It is multi-layered, with a announcement,
a reminder and a small advert and a webpage.
This is free and will feature your content.
This will reach all of our users over the period it is run. It is
similar in reach to a local Library or a shops community board.
What do you need to tell us?
It appears as a red dot ‘1’ on the icon of our app.
Once clicked it is shown and then it vanishes.
It is an app feature / comms channel we built but had never used
until this initiative.
You just need to provide us with your content:
- a) Print type poster, (currently in use is fine)
- b) Web link, existing consumer web page
- c) Contact email address
- d) Contact phone number
- e) Any YouTube content you may have
Who are we?
As you may know we operate a prepay system for shared heating (district heating) systems. We help
people to pay for utilities with a focus on very low cost delivery using technology to give a very high
quality of service.
Set up in 2012, the company name is from Prepago which is the Spanish for ‘I prepay’ and now we
nearly complete our first decade.
Our first heating scheme was launched on 13 September 2013, with Longford Town Council, and the
userbase has doubled annually since. Best known customers are Cosgrave Developments (2014) and
Glenveagh PLC (2018). We work with housing associations and is the market leader in Ireland.
The software is 100% Irish developed.
