Cookies and similar technologies

Prepago.ie uses a small amount of browser storage to remember your cookie choice and, only where you choose, to understand website use and marketing campaign performance. Optional tracking is switched off until you consent.

Your choices

You can accept all optional technologies, reject them, or choose analytics and marketing separately. You can reopen Cookie settings from the footer at any time. Changing your choice stops future optional tracking and removes the optional Prepago browser cookies from that browser.

Necessary storage

prepago_cookie_consent remembers your consent identifier, choices and policy version for up to 180 days. This is necessary to respect your selection and prevent the banner appearing on every page. The same choice may be backed up in your browser's local storage.

Analytics cookies

prepago_analytics_visitor uses a random identifier for up to 180 days to estimate unique website visitors. prepago_analytics_session uses a random identifier for 30 minutes to group activity into a visit. If accepted, Prepago records page views, broad device type, interactions with links and forms, and completed enquiry forms. Prepago's first-party tracker does not store a raw IP address.

Marketing measurement

If you separately accept marketing measurement, Prepago records campaign parameters such as UTM source, medium and campaign, and the referring website host. This helps connect an enquiry to a marketing campaign. No Google, Meta or other third-party advertising pixel is loaded by this feature.

Retention

Website analytics events are retained for the period shown in the administrator analytics settings, initially 90 days. Old consent records are removed after 365 days. Aggregated business reports may be retained separately where they no longer identify a browser.
